Kyrgyzstan Theologian Urges Citizens to Resist External Provocations

Theologian Kadyr Malikov has called on the people of Kyrgyzstan to exercise caution with information and avoid becoming tools for forces seeking to fracture society. He highlighted the current global climate of wars, economic instability, and escalating superpower tensions, noting that these pressures are nearing Central Asia's borders.

"Our countries are becoming targets not only of economic but also informational pressure from outside," Malikov stated. "There are attempts by certain external forces to influence public opinion, sow discord, and divide society from within."

Malikov affirmed citizens' rights to question, criticize, and demand adherence to the law and the protection of national interests. However, he stressed the importance of distinguishing constructive criticism from the spread of unverified information that could incite hatred and animosity. He recommended asking three questions before sharing any message: Is the information true? Has it been verified? Who benefits from its dissemination?

"When discord begins, not only the guilty suffer," Malikov warned. "It affects the entire society, families, children, the security of the state, and the future of the people." He emphasized that Kyrgyzstan currently needs unity, calm, and mutual respect above all else.
