Kyrgyzstan upgrades electric grid service vehicle fleet

The Ministry of Energy in Kyrgyzstan is enhancing its technical and material resources to guarantee a stable electricity supply across the country. A key part of this initiative involves modernizing the vehicle fleet used by National Electric Network of Kyrgyzstan OJSC, the nation's power grid operator.

Energy Minister Altynbek Rysbekov officially presented eight truck-mounted crane vehicles and four JAC T8 crew vehicles to regional branches. The total value of this new equipment is 50.8 million soms. These additions are designed to bolster the operational capabilities of the power grid maintenance teams.

According to the ministry's press service, Minister Rysbekov emphasized the importance of modernizing the vehicle fleet. He stated that these upgrades are essential for enhancing the overall reliability of the power sector. Furthermore, the new equipment will aid in thorough preparations for the demanding autumn-winter season.

The investment also focuses on providing energy sector personnel with safe and contemporary working conditions. By equipping its field teams with modern machinery, the ministry aims to improve efficiency and safety in maintaining and operating the country's electricity infrastructure.
