Lai Chau beauty pursuing master's degree selected to compete in Miss Tourism World 2026

Nguyen Lam Phuong, a runner-up from Lai Chau province, has been chosen to represent Vietnam at the Miss Tourism World 2026 pageant. Phuong, who holds the title of 4th runner-up from the Miss & Mr. Tourism Vietnam 2026 competition, will carry the Vietnamese sash to the international stage.

Currently pursuing a master's degree in journalism and communication management at the Academy of Journalism and Communication, Phuong impressed judges with her elegant beauty and confident demeanor. She is recognized for her sense of responsibility and pride in promoting the beauty of her homeland and country.

As Miss Tourism World Vietnam 2026, Phuong aspires to showcase Vietnam's national pride, spirit, and unique cultural values to a global audience. The Miss Tourism World 2026 competition is slated to be held in Hangzhou, China, during October and November 2026.

Vietnam has a history of success in this pageant, with Huong Ly securing the 2nd runner-up title at Miss Tourism World 2022 and Nguyen Giang Tien achieving 2nd runner-up at Miss World Tourism 2023, also winning the Best Popular award. Vo Tan Sanh Vy was crowned Miss Southeast Asia Tourism Ambassador 2025, highlighting a strong presence of Vietnamese beauty representatives in international tourism pageants.
