Laura Joffė Steps Down as Vilnius Development Company CEO

Laura Joffė is leaving the Vilnius Development Company by mutual agreement after three years as its chief executive. Board chairman Mantas Kuncaitis will temporarily lead the company while it searches for a replacement.

The company credited Joffė with expanding its project portfolio and launching what it described as a distinctive school-financing project in the region. Kuncaitis also said the company had strengthened its position as a professional and responsible organization during her tenure.

The board thanks Laura for the work she completed during her leadership and her substantial contribution to the company's growth.

Kuncaitis said the company was now entering a new stage of development. Its focus would shift toward strengthening systematic management to ensure projects move forward more quickly and consistently.

The Vilnius Development Company oversees more than 200 projects involving public-interest facilities in the capital. Their combined value is about 1 billion euros. The company plans to announce the selection process for a new chief executive soon.
