Popular German sports presenter Laura Wontorra is set to leave the streaming service DAZN and move entirely to the RTL Group. The 37-year-old has reportedly ended her contract with DAZN, which was originally valid until 2027, with the news first reported by 'Bild'.

DAZN did not comment on the specifics of the departure but bid farewell to the reporter on social media. "After many years together, it's time to say goodbye," the pay-TV provider wrote on Instagram, thanking Wontorra for "countless special moments and a great time together – both in front of and behind the camera." DAZN is reportedly already searching for a successor.

RTL has remained tight-lipped about Wontorra's complete switch to the broadcaster, which recently acquired the pay-TV channel Sky. A spokesperson stated, "We generally do not comment on speculation." Wontorra's management also declined to comment on the move.

Wontorra is already involved with RTL, where she has been presenting, among other things, games of the German national team since 2025. Her expanded role is expected to see her take on more assignments within the broadcaster's group.
