Learn contentment, don’t be beggarly, Remi Tinubu urges youths

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has advised young people to focus on achieving greater success and avoid complacency, urging them to embrace contentment and hard work. Speaking at the State House in Abuja while receiving the leadership of the All Progressives Congress National Youth Wing, she emphasized diligence, patience, and integrity as crucial virtues for success.

Drawing an analogy from the eagle, she encouraged the youth to develop resilience and forge their own paths. "You have to have the Eagles mentality. You should always look for your own path and not because that person has it, I want it," she advised.

In addition to her counsel, Senator Tinubu presented nine buses to the APC youth leaders, including the National Youth Leader, Deputy National Youth Leader, zonal leaders, and the Federal Capital Territory leadership. These vehicles are intended to support the youth wing's activities and community service efforts.

Dayo Israel, the APC National Youth Leader, thanked the First Lady on behalf of the beneficiaries. He stated that the donation would enhance the youth wing's capacity for outreach and mobilization ahead of the 2027 general elections. "We are committed to the Renewed Hope Agender, what you have done today is to enhance our capacity to be able to reach out not just for electoral mobilisation but to be able to improve the lives of Nigerians," Israel said. He added, "From this moment, we are now mummy’s men for Asiwaju and we are going to set structure to run campaign in the 36-states of the federation."
