Lectures to Enrich Al-Jadida Horse Show

The Al-Jadida Horse Show, under the patronage of King Mohammed VI, is set to host a day of cultural and scientific lectures on October 16. This event, part of the 17th edition of the show, aims to enrich the experience for attendees by delving into the multifaceted world of horses.

Leading researchers, experts, and professionals will converge to share the latest scientific and cultural advancements related to horses. The program includes sessions on equine health, exploring topics such as equine-assisted therapy and its application in Morocco, as well as hydrotherapy for horses and its role in veterinary care and rehabilitation. These discussions highlight the international evolution of therapeutic practices in the equine field.

A cultural session will explore the historical and civilizational importance of horses in Morocco. Topics will cover their presence in royal processions, their contribution to human physical and psychological well-being, and the historical attention given to horses by Moroccan sultans. Efforts to document equestrian terminology and preserve this cultural heritage will also be showcased.

The day will conclude with a specialized scientific seminar organized by the Moroccan Association of Equine Veterinarians. This session will focus on the latest developments in equine veterinary medicine, including genetic testing, advanced castration techniques, and the diagnosis and treatment of complex diseases.
