The couple admitted that their need for secrecy stems from an incident where they were caught by the grandfather. "Once we were caught," Lee explained, prompting Bae Da-hae to add that while they were used to comfortable and natural affection when living alone, it became more challenging after moving in with his grandfather. Lee elaborated on the awkward encounter, describing a moment when he and Bae Da-hae hugged while walking to their room, only to make eye contact with the grandfather who happened to be looking around the house at that exact moment.
