“Letter 75” case: Kamchybek Tashiev did not get to speak during closing arguments

Another hearing in the “Letter 75” case took place at Bishkek City Court, but former State Committee for National Security chief Kamchybek Tashiev did not manage to speak during the closing arguments.

Tashiev is among the defendants in the case, alongside former Prosecutor General Kurmankul Zulushev and former Jogorku Kenesh speaker Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu.

Five other signatories are also on trial. They signed an appeal to President Sadyr Japarov and the speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh calling for early presidential elections.
