LG Uplus's AlphaKey First Domestic IDaaS to Achieve CSAP Cloud Security Certification

LG Uplus announced that its integrated account management service, 'AlphaKey,' has become the first domestic Identity as a Service (IDaaS) solution to receive Cloud Service Security Certification (CSAP) at the SaaS standard grade. This achievement signifies a major milestone for the company and the South Korean cloud security sector.

The CSAP certification, awarded by the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA), is a crucial requirement for cloud service providers aiming to supply services to public institutions in South Korea. It validates that the service meets stringent information security standards mandated by the 'Act on Promotion and Use of Cloud Computing Facilities and Protection of Cloud Users.'

AlphaKey is a cloud-based service designed by LG Uplus to enhance account and access rights management for its enterprise clients. It centralizes the management of employee account information, access permissions across various work systems and SaaS applications, and allows users to access multiple work services with a single account. The service also features real-time detection of abnormal login activities and misuse of permissions, bolstering proactive security measures against potential threats.
