Lithuanian Breaker Dominika Banevič Wins Prestigious European Championship in Hungary

Lithuanian breakdancer Dominika Banevič, competing as B-Girl Nicka, has secured another significant title, triumphing at the prestigious Silverback Europe competition held in Budapest, Hungary. The 19-year-old athlete showcased exceptional skill throughout the tournament, defeating top international breakers to claim the championship.

Banevič demonstrated strong form from the preliminary rounds, advancing through the knockout stages with impressive performances. She overcame Bgirl SpiderGirl from Italy in the round of 16 and then defeated Bgirl Carla from Romania in the quarterfinals. The semifinals presented a significant challenge as she faced Bgirl Mila, the Russian champion. Banevič successfully navigated this high-stakes battle, advancing to the final.

In the final match, Banevič competed against French breakdance star Bgirl Kimie. Proving her dominance, she emerged victorious, earning the gold medal and adding another major trophy to her career accolades. This win follows her recent victories at prestigious competitions in France and Cyprus earlier this year. Banevič's most notable achievement remains her silver medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
