Lithuanian influencer addresses online negativity

Lithuanian influencer O. Pikul has publicly responded to a young man named Lukas who directed negative comments toward her online. Pikul, who typically avoids engaging with detractors, explained her decision to address Lukas publicly was to illustrate the potential repercussions of demeaning others.

"Normally, I wouldn't have made this statement and I certainly won't spend my precious time on every piece of trash or scum, because you can't change the whole world," Pikul stated. "But sometimes you want to set an example of what kind of low-ranking people exist, if people can be categorized at all."

Pikul criticized individuals who, in her view, "dedicate their youthful energy to the wrong things." Instead of self-improvement and pursuing goals, she argued, they choose negativity, slander, and gossip. She emphasized that pursuing legal action against everyone is not feasible and that she prefers to invest her time and energy in personal growth, fitness, earning money, or spending time with family.

Addressing Lukas directly, Pikul referenced his alleged difficult upbringing, including potential issues with alcohol in his family, and his current studies and location in England. She urged him to learn from negative examples and strive for his own goals, rather than directing negativity at others. Pikul concluded by advocating for positivity and kindness, noting that her own experiences have shown these approaches yield greater benefits than negativity.
