Lithuanian Ministry of Health to Move to New Premises in September

Lithuania's Ministry of Health (SAM) is set to relocate to new offices in September, as its current facilities are no longer adequate for modern operational demands. The ministry stated that the state-owned Property Bank was unable to provide suitable alternative state-controlled premises.

The current premises do not meet modern work needs, and the Property Bank did not have the opportunity to offer other suitable state-owned premises.

Consequently, SAM has entered into a lease agreement with "Eastnine 3Bures-1-2," the manager of a business center. The monthly cost for the new premises, which include office space, parking, and furniture, amounts to 49,000 euros.

The contract is concluded for 3 years with the possibility of extending it twice for 12 months, if the Property Bank still does not have suitable premises.

The contract is initially set for three years. However, it includes an option for two 12-month extensions, contingent on the Property Bank's continued inability to offer appropriate state-owned facilities. This move aims to provide a more functional and modern working environment for the ministry's staff.
