Lithuanian travelers are shifting their preferences away from traditional holiday spots like Turkey and Egypt, increasingly seeking more exotic and experience-rich destinations. Indrė Palaikė, head of product development at tour operator Novaturas, notes a consistent annual rise in interest in exotic locales, accompanied by evolving traveler expectations.

"Therefore, when choosing an exotic trip, the most important question is not where you want to fly, but what you want to experience," Palaikė stated. For the upcoming winter season, Novaturas will fly travelers to Indonesia, Tanzania, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam. A notable addition to their exotic destinations list is Kenya.
