London to Host ‘Live Oman’ Initiative to Promote Investment and Urban Development

Oman is taking its urban development pitch directly into London’s most influential circles. The “Live Oman” initiative, beginning on September 21, will promote the Sultanate as a place to live, invest, travel and grow a business.

The multi-day event will showcase Omani projects and investment opportunities to international audiences. Its pavilion will feature Sultan Haitham City, Al Thuraya City and Muscat Bay, as well as opportunities in free zones. Leading Omani real estate developers will take part as they seek to expand their international buyer base.

The initiative is built around direct engagement rather than conventional property advertising. Business meetings and closed-door sessions will bring developers together with decision-makers in the British market. More than 55 locations are being targeted, including private members’ clubs, luxury hotels and wealth management offices in Mayfair, Marylebone and Belgravia.

Held under the theme “Reimagine Your Future,” the London edition presents Oman through a combination of tranquillity, nature, quality of life and growth. It is especially aimed at people seeking stability and secure property ownership while maintaining cultural privacy.

Organizers say Oman enters the event with more than 2,000 kilometres of coastline, a ranking of third globally in the Quality of Life Index, and membership in more than 105 international trade agreements linking it with markets across Asia, Africa and Europe. The initiative is being coordinated with Oman’s embassy in London, which will assist with protocol and engagement with British investment stakeholders.
