Luis Enrique renews PSG contract through 2030

Luis Enrique will stay in charge of Paris Saint-Germain until 2030, extending a tenure that has delivered the club’s only two Champions League titles.

PSG announced the renewal on Friday before its match against Monaco at the Parc des Princes. The 56-year-old Spaniard joined the Paris club for the 2023-24 season and has overseen 178 matches.

Since his arrival, PSG have won 12 of the 16 titles available to them. The club captured the Champions League in 2024-25 with a 5-0 final victory over Inter Milan, then retained the trophy in 2025-26 after beating Arsenal in the final. Luis Enrique has also maintained PSG’s dominance in French competitions.

This season, PSG have already won the UEFA Super Cup, beating Aston Villa 2-1 in August, but lost the French Super Cup to Lens. Last season brought five trophies: Ligue 1, the French and European Super Cups, the Intercontinental Cup and the Champions League. The only title that eluded PSG in 2025-26 was the French Cup.

In Luis Enrique’s first season, PSG won Ligue 1, the French Cup and the French Super Cup. In 2024-25, the club won four of five competitions, missing only the Club World Cup after a 3-0 defeat by Chelsea in the final.
