Lula campaign to link Flávio Bolsonaro to corruption, ex-banker, and hitmen

The campaign of President Lula (PT) is preparing to launch a sharp attack against rival Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) in their upcoming radio advertisements, aiming to associate him with alleged corruption, a former banker, and hitmen.

One of the planned recordings reportedly labels the senator as "the worst of the Bolsonaros." The initial campaign materials from Lula's candidacy will concentrate on these attacks against Flávio Bolsonaro. The objective is to increase voter rejection rates for Bolsonaro.

The PT campaign intends to use these offensive tactics, particularly in shorter radio and TV spots, to frequently target the senator. Among the cases cited are investigations into the alleged embezzlement of salaries from Flávio Bolsonaro's office at the Rio de Janeiro State Assembly. Although the Public Prosecutor's Office had filed charges, the accusation was annulled by the Superior Court of Justice in 2020.

Lula's campaign also plans to mention a request for money from Daniel Vorcaro, who is under investigation by the Federal Police, and a tribute Flávio Bolsonaro proposed to former police officer Adriano da Nóbrega. Nóbrega is suspected of leading Rio de Janeiro's largest militia.

In another spot, set to a forró rhythm, the campaign will adapt a jingle from ten years ago that went viral. This version will include references to suspicions related to the film 'Dark Horse,' Flávio Bolsonaro's history as a chocolate shop owner, and cash real estate purchases. In both instances, hired voice actors will deliver the attacks against Flávio.
