M. Nasir reportedly encountered 'manifestation' of Puteri Gunung Ledang

Actress and producer Tiara Jacquelina has revealed a rumor that acclaimed actor Datuk M. Nasir encountered a supernatural manifestation of the legendary Puteri Gunung Ledang while filming the movie of the same name 22 years ago. Jacquelina said production crew members shared the story with her only after filming wrapped.

"The incident occurred when we were filming in Gunung Ledang," Jacquelina recounted. "It is said that M. Nasir encountered a manifestation of the Princess in the vicinity." She added that she was only informed of the alleged encounter by the crew after the production concluded, suggesting that M. Nasir himself would be the best person to confirm the details.

Jacquelina admitted that she has never had the opportunity to ask M. Nasir directly about the alleged encounter. "To this day, I haven't had the chance to ask M. Nasir about this matter myself," she stated. She also clarified that she personally did not experience any mystical or supernatural events during the filming of the historical epic.

"Perhaps I was too focused on my role as Puteri Gunung Ledang to notice what was happening around me," she mused. When questioned about pre-filming rituals, Jacquelina mentioned that some members of the Javanese community observed certain practices, such as fasting on specific days like Mondays and Thursdays, and undergoing 'mutih' – a 24-hour fast involving only white rice and water for spiritual cleansing. However, she emphasized there were no specific rituals performed before the principal photography began.
