The primary objective of this elaborate dinner is to ensure President Trump remains engaged in discussions, particularly concerning Ukraine, and does not depart prematurely. Macron hopes the opulent setting and carefully curated experience will foster productive dialogue.

Plans for Trump's visit include a tour of the Hall of Mirrors and a spectacular fountain show, followed by fireworks. While the specific menu remains undisclosed, a similar event in 2023 for King Charles and his delegation featured premium items like blue lobster, crab, and select cheeses, costing approximately 5.2 million kroner (about $580,000 USD).
