Mad Video Music Awards 2026 by DEI: Coming to MEGA for the 7th Year Tonight at 9:00 PM

The Mad Video Music Awards 2026, presented by DEI, will air on MEGA for the seventh consecutive year tonight at 9:00 PM. This prominent music event marks 23 years of celebrating Greek music and brings together the biggest names in the country's music industry for an impressive night at the Tae Kwon Do stadium.

Hosted by Themis Georgantas and Chrysida Gkagouti, the ceremony features Superhosts Konnie Metaxa, Dr. Chris, Giorgos Davos, Marianna Grfld, Upinthehype, and Athina Klimi. With the central theme "Summer in Greece," the evening kicked off with a warm-up set by Antonis Dimitriades AD1 and Athena Manoukian. The official opening act was performed by Akylas with his song "Ferto."

Performances included Marseaux, Marina Spanou with a special medley, LILA, Marina Satti, and Katerina Lioliou. Elena Paparizou and Eleni Foureira delivered live premieres of their new songs, captivating the audience. Dynamic collaborations featured Ria Ellinidou with Angela Dimitriou, Anastasia with Antigoni, Andromachi with Jenny Katsiyanni, and APON with the legendary Mariw for a rebetiko performance. Rack joined Sidarta on stage, while FY collaborated with Ria Ellinidou and later with Ellize. Manos, Dina, and LILA provided energetic dance performances, and Eurovision 2026 winner DARA added an international flair.

The spectacular finale was sealed by a captivating closing act from Thodoris Ferris and Eleni Foureira. A highlight of the evening was Dimitris Kontopoulos receiving an award from DARA for his contributions to Greek music. DARA was also presented with a double honorary plaque by Giorgos Arsenakos for her winning Eurovision song. A moving tribute was paid to Antonis Remos for his 30-year musical journey; he accepted his award from Maria Bakirtzis and performed some of his greatest hits, later joined on stage by Claudia.
