Maja Šuput confirms split from 'Mr. Perfect' Šime Elez

Croatian singer Maja Šuput has confirmed the end of her relationship with "Mr. Perfect" Šime Elez, stating that they had been living separate lives for some time. Šuput confirmed the news while responding to questions about a performance on the show "Your Face Sounds Familiar," where contestant David Balint portrayed her.

While Elez offered no comment on the breakup, stating he had just woken up, Šuput spoke with a touch of humor. "Each story has its beginning and end, and we had been approaching this latter part for some time," she said, adding with a laugh, "My sincere condolences to the media and portals that have run out of their daily dose of showbiz news."

Šuput also shared her enjoyment of Balint's performance, noting that her son Bloom and she found it hilarious. She described the impersonation as "fantastic," saying they "laughed until they cried." The singer also mentioned that her new song, a duet titled "Not Beautiful Enough," is set for release by the end of June and is currently the main focus for her team.

The relationship between Šuput and Elez began somewhat playfully after Elez ranked Croatian female celebrities in a TikTok video. Šuput responded with her characteristic sharp wit, prompting Elez to contact her. Their initial interaction, a video call initiated by Elez, was later described by Šuput as "disgusting" due to her appearance at the time, though it ultimately led to their connection.
