Makassar PKK Holds Islamic Study to Foster Resilient Families

In Makassar, South Sulawesi, the PKK Mobilization Team organized an Islamic study session aimed at empowering Muslim women to foster resilient families. The event, held at the Grand Mosque, gathered PKK cadres and delegates from various women's organizations across the city.

The task for the Makassar City PKK women is significant. It's not just about building our own families, but also about inviting everyone around us to contribute to creating resilient and prosperous families.

Kamelia Thamrin Tantu, head of the PKK's first working group, stressed that the role of PKK cadres extends beyond their own households. She urged them to actively encourage their communities to collectively build strong and prosperous families. "The task for the Makassar City PKK women is significant. It's not just about building our own families, but also about inviting everyone around us to contribute to creating resilient and prosperous families," Kamelia stated.

Under the theme "The Role of Muslim Women in Creating Resilient and Character-Driven Families," the session served as a platform for shared learning and spiritual growth. Kamelia described it as a space for mutual learning, emphasizing humility and collective improvement in both capacity and faith. She expressed hope that the knowledge gained would equip participants in their roles as mothers, wives, and community members.

Ustadz Musaffir Arif, the featured speaker, highlighted the crucial role and responsibilities of Muslim women in establishing families grounded in faith. He explained that true family success encompasses not only worldly achievements but also attaining a life blessed by Allah SWT. He underscored that genuine success requires personal resilience and strong moral character, built upon faith, knowledge, exemplary conduct, patience, and divine trust.
