Make Africa’s digital trade corridor work

Africa has taken a step toward expanding trade between its own countries with the establishment of the AfCFTA Digital Trade Corridor.

The corridor comes through a joint venture agreement between the African Continental Free Trade Area Secretariat and Quest Ghana. The initiative is presented as more than a ceremonial agreement, with its success depending on whether the digital corridor can function effectively in practice.
