Malaysian teens dominate Moto4 Asian Cup podium at Sepang

Fourteen-year-old Qayyim Razin Razali achieved a stunning victory in Race 1 of the Moto4 Asian Cup at the Sepang International Circuit. The young Malaysian rider clinched the win by a mere fraction of a second in a thrilling photo finish, clocking in at 25 minutes and 21.883 seconds. He expressed his disbelief and surprise at winning, stating, "It's hard to be in front and it feels like a dream. I hope my performance will be more consistent after this and there's still a lot I need to learn."

Japanese rider Kotaro Toga secured the second position with a time of 25:21.884s, narrowly beating Qabil Irfan Azlan, who finished third with 25:21.886s. Qabil Irfan, who had led the 11-lap race from pole position, expressed his disappointment at being overtaken at the finish line. "Somehow, I lost that position, it wasn't my luck to be the champion," he said.

Despite the disappointment, the 14-year-old Qabil Irfan, who also competes in the European Moto4 Cup, promised to bounce back in Race 2. He aims to redeem himself and fight for the top spot, demonstrating his determination to improve and challenge for the win in the upcoming race.
