Man Accused of Stabbing Woman, Throwing Her From Hotel Window; Allegedly Confesses on Video

A shocking incident unfolded in Kayseri, Turkey, where 28-year-old Selin Gökhan was allegedly murdered in a hotel room. The suspect, identified as Nurettin Can Ş., is accused of stabbing Gökhan and then throwing her from the fifth-floor window of a 14-story hotel in the Mevlana neighborhood.

Emergency services, including police, health, and fire departments, were dispatched to the scene. Gökhan was found to have died after falling onto the hotel's mezzanine floor. Her body was transported to the Kayseri State Hospital morgue for an autopsy.

Following the incident, police quickly apprehended Nurettin Can Ş. Reports indicate that the suspect confessed to the murder in a video he recorded after the event. In the video, he is quoted as saying, "The consequence is prison, I know that too. Forgive me my wrongs."

The motive behind the altercation remains unclear. The suspect is currently in police custody as investigations continue into the tragic event.
