Man attacks sisters, claims demons possessed them

A man in Antalya, Turkey, attacked his two sisters, attempting to strangle them because he believed they were possessed by a demon. The suspect, Muhammed D., was apprehended by police after one sister managed to escape and call for help. The suspect was arrested and charged with attempted murder, stating he would have killed them if police had not intervened. The incident occurred on July 10th around 4 p.m. in a residential building. Muhammed D. reportedly attacked his sister Kübra D. first, then pursued her sister Meryem D. when she tried to intervene. Kübra D. was hospitalized and placed on a ventilator due to her severe condition. Muhammed D. confessed to the police that he believed his sisters were possessed and that he intended to remove the demons by killing them. He was taken to a police station for questioning and subsequently arrested and sent to prison after a court ordered his detention on charges of attempted murder.
