Man Chokes on Orange During Okey Game, Saved by Opponent's Heimlich Maneuver

In Bilecik, Turkey, a game of okey took a dramatic turn when Hüseyin Açık began to choke on a piece of orange. The incident occurred at a local cafe in the Orta Mahallesi neighborhood. Açık suddenly found himself unable to breathe while playing with his friends.

Fortunately, his opponent at the okey table, Soner Keskin, reacted swiftly. Keskin immediately performed the Heimlich maneuver on Açık. The maneuver successfully dislodged the orange piece, allowing Açık to breathe again and saving his life.

After the life-threatening incident, Açık showed remarkable composure. He returned to the table and resumed the game of okey from where it left off. The entire event, including the choking and the subsequent rescue, was captured on the cafe's security cameras.

The following day, Açık expressed his gratitude by treating Keskin and their other okey friends to a meal, underscoring the camaraderie and relief following the near-tragedy.
