Man Found Dead Under Overturned Tractor After Forest Outing

A tragic accident has claimed the life of 73-year-old Muzaffer Nes in the forested region between Fasıl and Kozlu villages. Nes had gone into the forest with his tractor, license plate 14 AY 748, in the early afternoon to collect beanstalks.

Concerns arose when Nes's relatives could not reach him for a prolonged period. Growing worried, they organized a search party and ventured into the forest to find him. Their search concluded in the evening when they discovered Nes motionless beneath his overturned tractor.

Emergency services, including health, fire, and gendarmerie teams, were dispatched to the scene following the discovery. Medical personnel confirmed Nes's death. His body was transported to the hospital morgue after preliminary investigations by the prosecutor's office and gendarmerie. Nes's relatives experienced severe emotional distress at the scene. An investigation into the cause of the accident has been initiated.
