Man with world's smallest penis raises over $12,500 for surgery

Michael Phillips, a 38-year-old man from South Carolina, has garnered significant attention for claiming to possess the world's smallest penis. Diagnosed with micropenis, his organ measures a mere 0.97 centimeters when fully erect, posing challenges not only for sexual activity but also for everyday life, including urination.

Phillips has been open about his condition, sharing his story with various media outlets in hopes of raising funds for a corrective surgery. He initiated a GoFundMe campaign titled "Help Michael Get Micropenis Enlargement Procedure," which has since surpassed its goal, raising over NT$410,000 (approximately $12,500 USD) from donors.

"I never imagined anyone would care and reach out to help me!" Phillips expressed his gratitude and surprise towards those who have contributed. Renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Robert Dorman has publicly offered to perform the enlargement surgery free of charge. However, Phillips has already made arrangements for a procedure at a hospital closer to his home.

Phillips updated his fundraising page, stating that the accumulated funds will cover not only the surgery but also post-operative prescription drugs, accommodation for travel, and living expenses during his recovery period. His goal is to live a more "normal" life, a sentiment that has resonated with many who have offered their support.
