Marco Bezzecchi Wins MotoGP's Italian Grand Prix

Marco Bezzecchi secured victory at the Italian Grand Prix, the seventh round of the MotoGP World Championship, held at the iconic Mugello Circuit near Florence. The Aprilia rider completed the 23-lap race in 40 minutes and 57.347 seconds, outpacing his competitors.

Jorge Martin, Bezzecchi's teammate at Aprilia, finished second, trailing the winner by 3.559 seconds. Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati Lenovo rounded out the podium, finishing third with a gap of 5.098 seconds behind Bezzecchi.

Turkish rider Toprak Razgatlıoğlu, competing for Prima Pramac Yamaha, had a challenging race, finishing 16th. He crossed the line in 15th place but received a one-position penalty for exceeding track limits on the final lap, dropping him to 16th. Razgatlıoğlu finished 31.920 seconds behind the race leader.

The championship will continue with its eighth stage, the Hungarian Grand Prix, scheduled for June 7. In the current standings, Marco Bezzecchi leads with 173 points, followed by Jorge Martin with 156 points. Fabio Di Giannantonio is third with 134 points, Pedro Acosta fourth with 103, and Ai Ogura fifth with 92. Toprak Razgatlıoğlu is currently 22nd in the rider standings with 4 points.
