Maximiliano Gutiérrez set to leave Independiente for Dynamo Moscow in multimillion-euro deal

Maximiliano Gutiérrez is close to leaving Independiente Avellaneda for Dynamo Moscow after the Argentine club reached a verbal agreement for his transfer to Russia.

TyC Sports reported that the deal is worth 7 million euros and that the clubs are exchanging the documents needed to complete it. The Chilean winger joined Independiente from Huachipato in February 2026. He made 17 appearances, scored four goals and supplied two assists before his departure became likely at the end of the transfer window.

The fee will be divided equally because Independiente owns only 50% of Gutiérrez’s economic rights. Huachipato retains the other half. Independiente is therefore due 3.5 million euros, but the Argentine club also owes Huachipato 2 million dollars from the player’s arrival in Avellaneda. After that obligation is deducted, Independiente is expected to receive roughly 2 million dollars from the sale.

Russian interest in Gutiérrez had already emerged in June, when Krasnodar submitted a 6 million dollar offer that was rejected. Dynamo Moscow eventually advanced for the player, who began his professional career with Huachipato in 2022. Independiente has started negotiations for Argentine forward Alvaro López, who currently plays for Uruguay’s Albion and belongs to Plaza Colonia.
