Mazu's 'Pink Speedcar' to Overnight at Tongxiao Township Office Amidst Devotee Swarm

The revered "Pink Speedcar," the palanquin carrying the Mazu statue from Baishatun Gongtian Temple, has arrived in Tongxiao Township, drawing thousands of devoted followers and causing a significant stir. The pilgrimage, a deeply significant event for many in Taiwan, sees the Mazu statue embarking on a journey to Beigang Chaotian Temple, with its return journey marked by specific overnight stops.

This year, the palanquin has chosen to rest at the Tongxiao Township Office, a decision announced by Gongtian Temple Chairman Hong Wen-hua.
