MDMC volunteers provide mobile health services to earthquake survivors in Manggarai Timur

Medical volunteers from the Muhammadiyah Disaster Management Center (MDMC) are conducting mobile health examinations for earthquake survivors in Pota, Sambi Rampas, Manggarai Timur, East Nusa Tenggara. The initiative aims to reach residents who are still residing in temporary shelters following the earthquake that damaged their homes.

The mobile health services are part of a broader humanitarian response by MDMC and Lazismu in Manggarai Timur. The focus is on ensuring that the health conditions of the affected population are continuously monitored and addressed. This outreach is particularly crucial for those who remain in evacuation tents situated near their damaged residences.

Previously, the Muhammadiyah service post in Manggarai Timur had already provided various humanitarian services to 3,466 affected residents. The ongoing mobile health checks are designed to provide accessible medical care amidst the challenging circumstances faced by the survivors, prioritizing their immediate health needs and recovery.
