Medical adjudication reform: New salary rules for ZUS doctors in Poland

Poland is advancing its reform of medical adjudication with the introduction of new salary regulations for professionals working with the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS). This initiative represents a significant step in standardizing and enhancing the compensation structure for doctors who play a crucial role in assessing disability and fitness for work.

Under the new rules, medical adjudicators employed by ZUS will receive a gross monthly salary ranging from 14,200 to 20,000 Polish zloty.
