MedLife Expands Integrated Medical Services with New Bucharest Hyperclinic

MedLife, the leading private healthcare provider in Romania, has expanded its reach with the opening of a new hyperclinic in Bucharest. This significant expansion represents an investment of over 1 million euros and aims to provide patients with enhanced access to integrated medical services.

The new facility, located at Șoseaua Panduri nr. 40 in Sector 5, offers a comprehensive suite of services. These include laboratory analysis, specialist consultations, and functional monitoring. The hyperclinic also integrates the operations of the former MedLife Panduri clinic, creating a more robust healthcare hub in the area.

The opening of a new large-scale unit in Bucharest is a natural step in our development strategy and comes in response to patients' need to benefit from an extended portfolio of medical services as close to home as possible. Through the hyperclinic network developed in the Capital, we manage today to be closer to patients and offer them quick access to integrated services, regardless of the area they are in.

With this latest addition, MedLife now operates 37 hyperclinics across Romania, eight of which are situated in Bucharest. This growth solidifies the company's dominant position in the private healthcare market. Dorin Preda, Deputy General Director of the MedLife Group, stated that the opening is a natural step in their development strategy, responding to patient demand for extensive medical services conveniently located near their homes.

Preda described the new hyperclinic as a "one-stop-shop" model, designed for easy access to numerous medical specialties, laboratory tests, and advanced technologies. Spanning approximately 1,000 square meters over three floors, the clinic features 16 consultation rooms, a minor surgery room, and a dedicated sample collection area. It provides access to 27 medical specialties, supported by modern technology and multidisciplinary teams with national and international expertise. The clinic serves patients through both direct payment and corporate subscription plans, increasing access to integrated healthcare for Bucharest residents and those in surrounding areas.
