Megas: Massively mourned

Iceland bids farewell today to Magnús Þór Jónsson, widely known and beloved as Megas, a multifaceted artist who left an indelible mark on the nation's cultural landscape. Megas, celebrated as a musician, writer, and visual artist, passed away on July 6th.

The funeral service is scheduled to be held at the iconic Hallgrímskirkja church in Reykjavík at 3 p.m. Séra Auður Eir Vilhjálmsdóttir will officiate the ceremony.
