Men’s bikes nabbed in Winnipeg for charity ride

Two cyclists on a mission to raise awareness for men's mental health had their journey disrupted when their bicycles were stolen while they stopped in Winnipeg. Val Duquenne and Thomas Clark discovered the theft after completing an interview with CBC Manitoba, finding that the lock securing their bikes to a rack on their car had been cut.

The cyclists, who are undertaking a cross-Canada ride as part of their "Men Don't Ride Alone" campaign, have filed a police report. Winnipeg police are actively seeking tips and security footage from the area to help recover the stolen bikes. The force shared photos of the bicycles on Facebook, appealing to the community for assistance in supporting the men's cause.

Duquenne and Clark began their campaign last month in North Sydney, Nova Scotia, and plan to finish in Victoria. Their initiative aims to raise money for the non-profit organization Movember Canada, highlighting the importance of connection in addressing men's mental health challenges.
