Meteorology announces August 2, 2026 weather report: How will the weather be today?

Turkey's General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM) has issued its weather forecast for August 2, 2026, predicting varied conditions across the country. The Aegean region will also experience northwesterly winds, particularly in the north. The Mediterranean and Central Anatolia regions are expected to remain mostly clear and sunny. The Black Sea region will see a mix of clouds and sun, with potential for rain in the northern and eastern parts. Eastern Anatolia will be partly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the northeastern areas, particularly in Kars, Ardahan, Iğdır, and Ağrı.
