Mexican Football Federation upgrades technology center to elite standards

The Mexican Football Federation (FMF) has taken a significant step in its modernization strategy by enhancing the Center for Technological Innovation (CITEC). This project aims to integrate state-of-the-art tools to elevate the processes involved in preparation, analysis, and decision-making within Mexican football.

The CITEC is entering a new phase focused on digital transformation and leveraging data to optimize athletic performance. The goal is to foster a more efficient work environment that can generate strategic insights and provide specialized resources to support the growth of players, coaches, referees, and multidisciplinary staff.

As part of this upgrade, the FMF has brought on board key international technology partners. These include Opta by Stats Perform, Sportian, GolStats, Catapult Sports, Teamworks, SeeUPlay, and Nuubo. These companies are recognized for their expertise in data analysis, sports intelligence, physical monitoring, athlete management, video analysis, and talent tracking.

The integration of these advanced tools will enable more precise processes and a greater capacity to evaluate performance both on and off the field. The upgraded technological infrastructure of the CITEC will be available to all levels of Mexican football, including the national teams, Liga MX, Liga MX Femenil, Liga de Expansión MX, youth categories, and the national refereeing body.
