Mexico U-23 Struggles to Draw 1-1 with Dominican Republic in CAC Games

The Mexican U-23 national team secured a crucial 1-1 draw against hosts Dominican Republic in the Central American and Caribbean Games, keeping their hopes of advancing to the next round alive. Dominican Republic had taken the lead in the 19th minute with a goal from Javier Roces. Mexico struggled to create clear chances, but a late equalizer in the 77th minute by Jonathan Pérez, capitalizing on a goalkeeping error, leveled the score. This goal provided a much-needed boost for Mexico and a setback for the Dominicans.
