Minibus Overturns Down Ravine in Burdur; Several Injured

A minibus carrying agricultural workers overturned on a steep slope in Burdur, Turkey, falling approximately 15 meters into a ravine. The accident occurred yesterday afternoon when the driver, Hüseyin Kurnaz, lost control of the vehicle on a ramp in the Kirazlı area of Akdağ Mountain. The minibus, with license plate 15 AN 360, was returning from a picnic. Eight passengers, identified as Ayşe Kama, Emine Keskin, Gülay Kurnaz, Şerife Satılmış, Süleyman Keskin, Yasemin Halıcı, and Şerife Ayan, were injured along with the driver. Emergency services, including AFAD, firefighters, and medical teams, were dispatched to the scene. The injured were extricated and transported to hospitals. Local officials, including Ağlasun District Governor Metin Eyyüpkoca and Mayor Ali Ulusoy, visited the injured at the hospital. Reports indicate that Emine Keskin and Gülay Kurnaz are in serious condition.
