Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Announces Arrival of Pilgrims to the Kingdom for Hajj

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has officially announced the beginning of the arrival of the 'Guests of Allah' to the Kingdom for the Hajj pilgrimage. This marks the start of a meticulously planned season, aimed at providing pilgrims with a seamless and spiritually fulfilling experience from the moment they arrive until their departure.

Under the directives of the wise leadership and the supervision of the Minister of Interior, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, a comprehensive system of services and facilities has been activated. This includes enhanced operational readiness at all entry points—air, land, and sea—to ensure the smooth processing of pilgrims. The ministry highlighted the arrival of around 30 flights from various countries, including Pakistan, Turkey, Afghanistan, Malaysia, India, Bangladesh, and Thailand, underscoring the global nature of this sacred journey.

Efforts have been intensified to expedite entry procedures and enhance the overall experience for pilgrims. This involves increasing the number of staff, establishing dedicated pathways, and providing multilingual guidance and support services. The coordination between various government entities is crucial to ensuring that pilgrims can easily reach their accommodations in Mecca and Medina. This year's preparations, which began on 12 Dhu al-Hijjah 1446 AH, reflect the Kingdom's unwavering commitment to serving pilgrims in a safe and organized environment, a testament to its custodianship of the holy sites.
