Japanese superstar Misia's highly anticipated concert in Taipei was met with an unexpected 30-minute delay after she stopped just one song into her performance.

The singer, who was set to perform two shows at the Taipei Music Center, attracting 9,000 fans, halted after her opening song, "Kono Hi ga Aru you ni" (Hoping for a Sunny Day). The audience was reportedly taken aback, but Misia eventually returned to the stage after the extensive technical adjustment.

Reports indicate that while rehearsals went smoothly, an unspecified line interference disrupted some lighting functions during the live show. Despite the hiccup, Misia powered through, expressing her deep affection for her Taiwanese fans with heartfelt declarations in Mandarin, including "Taiwan, I miss you!" and "Taiwan, NO.1!" She captivated the crowd with her powerful vocals, including her signature whistle tones, and performed hits like "Everything" and "Kono Toki wo Sugite mo" (Even If This Time Passes).

Her energetic performance, which included shouting "Taiwan, I love you!" in both Mandarin and Japanese during the song "Gamushara," brought the audience to a fever pitch. The concert, her first solo show in Taipei in eight years, featured 18 songs and lasted two hours, concluding with an encore that included the theme song for the latest Detective Conan movie.
