Mobics Consortium Wins 20 Billion Won Gwangyang Air Dome Project from Posco Flow

Mobics Consortium, with Mobics as the lead company, has signed a contract worth approximately 20 billion won with Posco Flow for the Gwangyang CTS Yard enclosure air dome EPC project. This initiative focuses on covering a 73,300 square meter outdoor raw material yard at the Gwangyang Steelworks with a large air dome structure.

The primary goals are to prevent dust generated during the handling of materials like coal and iron ore, and to enhance the working conditions for employees. Mobics formed a consortium with specialized companies in mechanical, civil, and electrical engineering to undertake this project, securing the contract after a comprehensive technical evaluation.

The consortium will be responsible for the entire process, from design and material procurement to construction and commissioning. Mobics CEO Na Dong-hyuk stated, "This project selection is an achievement based on our air dome technology and EPC management capabilities." He added, "We will cooperate with participating companies to ensure safety, quality, and delivery deadlines, proceeding with the project without any setbacks."

With this contract, Mobics plans to continuously expand its business in the fields of large-space special structures and industrial facility enclosures, leveraging its expertise gained from this project.
