Mobile Units Issue 358 Documents After NTT Earthquake

In the wake of the recent earthquake that struck East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Indonesia's Directorate General of Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) has launched a "jemput bola" (fetch the ball) initiative. This proactive approach involves bringing essential civil registration services directly to the affected communities.

Dukcapil teams have been actively working on the ground, issuing a total of 358 civil documents to residents who lost or had their documents damaged in the disaster. This rapid response is crucial for the affected population, as these documents are vital for accessing aid, rebuilding lives, and resuming normal activities.

The "jemput bola" strategy signifies a commitment by the government to expedite the recovery process. By providing free and accessible services at the disaster site, Dukcapil aims to alleviate the burden on earthquake survivors, ensuring they can quickly obtain the necessary identification and legal papers.
