Model flees union leader's apartment; police intercept couple showing drug signs

New video footage has emerged showing 23-year-old model Candela Arizaga running down a busy avenue in Buenos Aires after leaving the apartment of union leader Facundo Moyano.

The lawyer for Arizaga, Diego Storto, identified Moyano as the person seen following the model in the recordings. Reconstructions suggest Arizaga left Moyano's apartment shortly after 5 a.m. Building security reported a man and woman left after an "incident."

Police later intercepted Arizaga and Moyano in the Barrancas de Belgrano area. Both displayed signs of drug consumption. Initially, Arizaga told officers she had been "assaulted by Mr. Moyano." However, after being taken to Pirovano Hospital, she later told authorities the situation arose from drug use and that she was not beaten or held captive by Moyano, a statement that contradicted her initial report.

Moyano was detained and processed for background checks. The exact events leading to Arizaga's flight from the apartment remain unclear, though neighbors reported hearing a loud argument and cries for help.
