Río Breogán has secured its first signing for the upcoming 2026-27 season with the acquisition of Montenegrin international pivot Aleksa Ilić. The 29-year-old player, standing at 205 centimeters, arrives from SC Derby in Podgorica, where he established himself as the second most valuable player in the league last season.

During his tenure with SC Derby, Ilić showcased impressive performance, averaging 15.2 points and 8 rebounds across 26 games. His contributions were vital to the team's success, earning him recognition as a top player in the league. This signing marks a significant addition to Breogán's roster as they prepare for their sixth consecutive season in the Endesa league.
