Moro withdraws from Paraná governor debate, accuses PT and PSD of 'combined game'

Senator Sergio Moro, the candidate for governor of Paraná, has withdrawn from a scheduled debate, accusing rival parties of a coordinated attack. Moro announced his decision not to participate in the debate hosted by Grupo Bandeirantes on August 9, citing what he termed a "combined game" orchestrated by the PT and PSD parties.

According to Moro, the debate, which was set to include candidates Requião Filho and Sandro Alex, had devolved into a platform for personal attacks rather than a substantive discussion of proposals for the state. He expressed his refusal to be part of what he described as a "cockfight" where genuine policy discussions are overshadowed by animosity.

Moro specifically targeted the PT and PSD, suggesting they had colluded to target his campaign, which he claims is leading the gubernatorial race. He asserted that his absence from the debate was not due to fear of his opponents but a principled stand against what he perceives as a manipulated political environment.
