Moroccan police seize 385 kg of meat of unknown origin at festival

Moroccan environmental police confiscated approximately 385 kilograms of ground turkey of unknown origin during a raid on a fast-food stall at the Moulay Abdallah Amghar festival. The operation aimed to protect the health and safety of festival attendees.

During the inspection, the seized meat was discovered stored in two refrigerators within the establishment. Authorities coordinated with the National Office for Food Safety (ONSSA) to conduct necessary health inspections and determine appropriate legal and regulatory actions.

The stall's operator has been placed under police custody under instructions from the public prosecutor's office at the Settat Court of First Instance. Investigations are ongoing to uncover all circumstances surrounding this case.
