Morocco weather forecast: Hot conditions expected in several regions

Morocco is set to experience relatively hot weather on Monday, with the General Directorate of Meteorology forecasting particularly warm conditions in the country's southeast, eastern regions, the Moulouya Valley, Saïs, Tadla plains, and the southern desert provinces.

Low clouds and fog are expected to form during the early morning and nighttime hours along the Atlantic coast. These conditions may be accompanied by gusty winds in the eastern and southeastern parts of the country, as well as in the southern provinces, where localized sandstorms are possible. The wind activity is a notable feature of the forecast for these areas.

Temperatures will show considerable variation across the country. Minimum temperatures are predicted to range between 26 and 30°C in the southern part of the eastern region and the far south of the country. In the southeast and the Moulouya Valley, lows will be between 22 and 26°C. The Atlas and Rif mountains will see cooler temperatures, with lows between 13 and 16°C, while other areas will experience lows between 16 and 22°C. Maximum temperatures are expected to see a slight increase or remain stable across the kingdom.
